Program & Cultural Affairs

To develop, plan and implement AAAG programs and events

Membership

Recruit new members and maintain up to date membership and mailing lists. They also develop membership package and cards for new members. They make recommendations to Executive Board (EB) regarding membership dues and also receive suggestions and concerns of members.

Hospitality

"Greet & Meet" and organize food and drink for all meetings and functions. Develop "how to" and "welcome" packages for newly arriving diaspora.

Welfare / Wellness

Provide service and/or contributions to identified needy organizations within Ghana. Also assist AAAG members in times of need as deemed by membership and Executive Board.

Youth Affairs

Encourage our younger members' participation and use their talents

BYLAWS

Map out AAAG's purpose and the practical day-to-day details of how it will go about its business. Review current best practices and make recommendations on those the organization should consider adopting. The Bylaws committee is also charged with reviewing and drafting proposed amendments and changes to AAAG's constitution.

Community Service and Scholarship

Supporting educational opportunities and community service initiatives

Fund Raising

Develop, implement and administer fund-raising activities and events with one major annual fund-raising event.

Budget

Financial planning and budget management for the organization

Communications & Public Relations

Publicize each AAAG event, seminar and/or celebration. Also generate media activity and social media activity for regular and specially called meetings.

The WhatsApp AAAG Community Matters platform for members is an information bulletin that provides local and international news and commentary relevant to the diaspora community.
